Company History

Our History We Are Proud Of
1910
Praya Bhirom Bhakdi started his business ventures in 1910 with a ferry service which offered transportation across the Chao Phraya River, linking Bangkok and Thonburi called “White Ferry”
1931
Praya Bhirom Bhakdi was first introduced to German beer and immediately sensed the potential of beer as a beverage that Thai people would take to. He then submitted a proposal to built Thailand's very first brewery in 1931.
1933
The Thai government officially granted Praya Bhirom Bhakdi a long-coveted license to brew beer and construction of a brewery under the name “Boon Rawd Brewery” company and began to producing beer with the launch of two brands: Golden Kite and Singha in July, each of which sold for 32 satang.
2018
Boon Rawd Company established Food Factors Co., Ltd to fully expand into the food sector in 2018, as well as joining with Lynfox of Australia to go into the logistics and supply chain business.
2019
Food Factors acquired a majority stake of up to 90% of local steakhouse chain “Santa Fe Steak” in 2019.
